Responding To Criticism, The ACA Health Insurance Form Is Shortened

The Obama administration took hard punches weeks ago when reporters learned the application for health insurance plans under “Obamacare” might be 21 pages long.

The Health and Human Services Department tried to erase that bad publicity Tuesday by releasing new versions of the forms, including a three-pager that was so simple few people could argue it was an unfair demand on consumers. After all, the public is applying for lucrative government subsidies, so a little paperwork should be expected.
